Trying to run off with me?

Hello,

so my mare has been acting up lately. I go to ride her, and she's fine as long as i walk her, but when I ask for a walk to lope transition, or any speed faster than a walk, she takes off at full gallop, and I can't slow her down! She'll run for a good half hour straight! I can stop her and she listens to which way I want her to go, but when I ask her to go, all she wants to do is run and I can't get any work done with her because she's worn out by the time she's done running. I lunge her almost every time before I ride her, and it helps on occasion. I'm at a loss of what to do?
